If a resident of Twin Lakes Community begins to experience health problems, Twin Lakes offers a variety of choices once again. Many residents choose to manage their disability or problem in their own home with the assistance of Special Care Services, the home-care agency operated by Twin Lakes. Both assisted living and skilled nursing are available on campus.
The Assisted Living Building has thirty-six apartments with round-the-clock supervision. Each apartment has a small kitchenette and parlor in addition to the bedroom and full bath. The Assisted Living Apartment Building allows for support and socialization with numerous living areas, a lovely dining room, a crafts room, a courtyard garden, and a resident-run gift shop.
The Assisted Living building is very beautiful and residential in nature. The first floor houses socialization areas such as a great room, dining and activity rooms, and the Swan's Nest Resident Store. The residential halls offer numerous options in apartment style floor plans. All apartments include separate living and sleeping areas as well as an efficiency kitchen with apartment size sink, refrigerator, and microwave oven. Residents are encouraged to make their homes personal and attractive by bringing their own furniture and decorative ideas.
